Made this for a friend in trade for some preserves.  She's giving it as a gift to a friend who's expecting.  This is the biggest thing I've knit in quite some time.  Used some basic acrylic superwash yarn.  (it was a bit too big for the table, so its actually bigger than it appears in the photo)

Gorgeous! I was thinking of knitting this, and I was wondering if you wouldn't mind giving me some advice? First of all, did you knit it with 2 strands? And, I was thinking of making color blocks out of the outlined blocks with two colors using intarsia...otherwise I might not have enough yarn. Any recommendations for/against?
