What for you ask?

For giving me the confidence to push myself artistically, for giving me encouragement when I needed it, and the desire to create things bigger, and better! Smiley

It all started out with a little mushroom house, and the rest for me is history Smiley

The support I have received here is incredible, and for that I am grateful, and so very thankful.

You see, recently I have been asked to design and make a line of products to be sold in the Smithsonian Institute in the National Natural History Museum in Washington DC. It is to reflect the upcoming exhibit about Hyperbolic Crocheted Coral Reefs.

I have some designs I've been working on, and I am still awaiting the official order from them, but even if it falls through, you all still gave me the encouragement to go out on a limb, to try new things, and to push myself.

Again, thank you so much Craftster, I owe it all to YOU!

These are proto-types, first necklaces:

And little 1 1/2 inch pins:

*UPDATE* October 4th, Here is the first order I'm sending to them tomorrow Smiley I spread everything out on my couch to take a picture before they were gone Smiley

I remember the mushroom house! This piece is just amazing. Congrats! It's well deserved.
