I was given a pretty little pillowcase by my mother-in-law recently and I decided that it needed a greater purpose in life besides taking up room in my linen closet. So I spent an hour or so in my sewing room and come up with this cute variation on a pillowcase dress for my daughter. In case you can't tell by the pics, she thinks that she is the CUTEST thing alive. I have to agree. Cheesy I do feel the need to mention that not long after this pic was taken she got her hands on a RED dry erase marker... needless to say all my work is now ruined and I will be dying this dress some other color to hide the horrible red marker stains that now grace its lovely front. Ugh. Also please excuse the fact that she looks like she has black eyes. She had recently been onto my makeup. Again. So (without telling more of my daughter's antics) here it is!

Thank you. Smiley I will have to update as I go with the dying process as well. I still can't believe she messed up that dress within HOURS of me making it! Oh well, such is life with children I suppose.

Hi there, little pretty princess!
What a beautiful dress you are wearing!
And you did your own make-up too?
I heard you even used some to pretty up your new dress.
You look wonderful.

the dress came out prefectly!! a pity for the colouration, maybe dying it black and substituting the lace with a white one?
