The Halloween Hoopla is pretty cute!  I think what I like most is how it is layered, like with the pumpkin having the yellow felt behind him, rather than sewing the face-pieces on top of the pumpkin shape.  It gives it a 3-D quality.  Also, I like the large stitches around the ghost and skull on the banner.  Btw, what fabric is the banner made of?

The banner is made of 2 cotton fabrics I found among the halloween fabrics at JoAnns.  This is the tutorial I used:

And you can see pictures of both the hoopla and banner hanging in my blog:

Thanks for the links!  One of the commenters for the bunting made me laugh.  She said she couldn't believe how much work it was: ironing, measuring and cutting, ironing, sewing, ironing, sewing some more...

Love that Hoopla!
I made something like that for Christmas last year but love your idea of the bats hanging down, and love your name for it! I'm always picking up the hoops for .50 at garage sales  Wink

awesome stuff! I loooove that banner, that ghost is cuuuhuuuuute!
I recieved from bananasandhair and she was spot on! And everything was wrapped in black and red, and one is orange paper. Loved that to begin with.

I saw the cats after i opened it, but they have now a new residence.. my desk

The first thing I found was this emilie autumn inspired brooch, and I pinned it to my opheliac tshirt I was wearing.

Fang hair deco, love it. The paper got stuck to it though. I guess i have to wash it off. xD

why is every rat toy I have, I have to put my fingers in their butt _ LOL (I have 2 rat hand puppets)

potion bottle. I have a collection of bottles that aren't in my room yet.
Next up a coffin... which had a grey rat in it which actually made me jump. LOL

Inside the box was this awesome huge key, (i have a thing for key's and spoons too), and of course the outside of the box.

Paper coasters, which will probably be hung on the wall, a picture frame, which i adore, (it will hold my first real halloween picture!) and a rip stamp.
last, she made me some yarn falls for my frankee stein costume.

(emilie autumn poster in the back 8D )

my cat checking the plastic bags.. that bananasandhair used for cushions, that is the best idea ever! Finally a good use for them, besides of course caring stuff around, but that is so over rated xD

Wearing the brooch and necklace, with my set of asylum keys and mini top hat.

I love it, thank you!
