Okay, this is one of the coolest things I've ever seen. Also pretty funny, since I just read this blog post today, which asks questions for which you have evidently found answers re: skull tableware:

OMG! That's unbelievable! I soooo want one. Do you think you would ever sell a few?

I would def sell them, if I had more time to make them outside my regular class time. I am trying to get enough stuff together to open an Etsy. So we will see.   :-)

What technique did you use?
Is it smooth and round like a bowl inside?


Yes, it is smooth like a bowl inside. The cranium I actually threw on a wheel, then trimmed and warped it to a more egg like shape, then the facial bones I sculpted on a plaster bowl form and then attached.

LOL! If you were to drink out of an enemies skull, def turn upside down and smash/cut hole where it connects to the neck. Because there is naturally a big hole where the spinal column goes.
