"ROCK"ing this!  I can't believe it's denim -- I honestly thought it was leather (or the like) in the photo!  You did an AMAZING job on the fit, and I'm deeply impressed with the topstitching.  The collar design is doubly cool.  I need a fave team now, just so I can make a jacket!

And when you hang this, you know to give the seams and the zipper just a bit of a tug to straighten them, as they might pucker a bit in the wash. I hang all of my husband's jeans, gently pulling them into shape, and not only are the jeans lasting longer as they're not being worn out by the dryer, but they're not shrinking. Sure, they come off the line stiff as boards, but that's because DH doesn't like the smell of fabric softener. redstar13 is right -- use softener and you won't feel like you're donning a cardboard coat.

What is this "normal" you talk about? Is it contagious? OMG! Stay away! Don't touch me! I might catch your normal!

Continued thanks and thanks on the washing advice!  Grin

As for the pattern, I do indeed still have it, I'm just not sure how to go about sharing it.... I don't mind at all, it's just that it's made of 16 pieces (each place that there is top stitching is another piece), that I currently have cut out of tissue paper that I drew on.

I also had to make quite a few modifications as I went since my math skills apparently weren't bang on while I was drafting.

If anyone has an easyish way for me to share I'd be happy too... I could photograph the pieces and basic dimensions maybe?

Wow is that beautiful! :O
You are mad skilled to have drafted such a fancy pattern yourself-- not only does it look professionally made, but it looks expensive as hell. I am very much impressed!
