So I based this jacket loosely off a jacket I bought my mom that I love!

I made the pattern myself and went to town, and I must say I think this is my favourite piece of all the things I've made.

You can wear the collar like so

or like so.... i love it both ways

Every seam has double top stitching, and the sleeves are made of 3 pieces

And on, fits like a glove, except I'm a total idiot and didn't pre-wash the fabric.  It's a stretchy denim so it will probably shrink  Angry  I think this puppy is going to be dry-cleaned for the rest of its life.

Way 2

and the back

Questions, comments and criticism as always!

That is one of the most awesome-ist jackets I've ever seen! Really fantastic job!! This rocks!

Okay so once again I am completely redoing my pictures. Got tired of photobucket, the only reason I used it was for here so I decided I will just use Craftster's photo uploader. So while I am switching over my photo links will be broken. Message me if there is a post you would like the pics for.

Wowzers - fab, fab, fab - I'm seriously impressed you drafted this yourself.  Runs off to hit "this rocks"

Amazing job!!

And don't worry too much about shrinking - just hang dry it!! (be sure to use fabric softener in the wash tho)
And if you are as OCD as I am you can turn down the spin speed. Smiley

That... Has to be the most awesome jacket I have seen thus far in my life. (Though I can't imagine it being topped.)
I love how it's pieced together- all those stitches...!
The collar and zip are cool too, that really pulls it together. ^^

This definitely rocks!
