I have to say that the projects look very intimidating but once you actually get going the simple things make it turn out wonderful!
I didn't use paper mache clay like he does mostly cause I didn't have the stuff to make it but I used a really cheapo version I found on the net that I actually really like. You shred up toilet paper into smallish pieces and boil it in all in a pot, until it's a giant lumpy mess, probably 10-15 minutes. Then I put a thin cloth over a strainer to get rid of all the water and tie it up and squeeze the rest of the water out. Then I put it in a container and break it up and add white glue and salt and mix it all up till it's pretty sticky and easy to use. It does take a few days depending on the weather to dry, so try not to use too much at once....you may run the risk of collapsing you project. Always add salt too to the pulp or any other paper mache mix you make because this will make sure it doesn't start to mold.
I cant wait to see if anyone else will give this project a try!
