Signatures would be cool, then you could get a little bit from different people. After Christmas would be nice, January maybe?

I think signatures would be an awesome idea too.
It would be fantastic to get a mix of papers and design from different people.

In other news - I was soooo sure my book would come today but then my boyfriend reminded me it is a ridiculous holiday. Sigh.

Hooray! My fantastic journal arrived!!
My handle appears on the binding and a lovely Hindu deity adorns the cover.
The inner cover has two envelopes, one was filled with whimsies (displayed) and one with an ATC: "Good people drink good beer. -Hunter S. Thompson".
The next page suggests an art project: "Take a walk, find a variety of neat leaves, and sketch them here."

Few other favorite pages - another art task to find old photos and make a story and great Dr. Suess image:

Lovely tree then an image with quote: "You cannot prevent the birds of sadness from passing over your head, but you can prevent them from nesting in your hair".

Page with song lyrics to a favorite song and my awesome extras: THREE pens (love them!!):

Ninja_Poo - thanks so much for this an awesome journal, I love how you captured my themes and all the decorated pages.
Wish we could have met and swapped over a good beer. Smiley

A great cover! I think that wins for best use of a deity! Grin

Loving this gallery.
I've been thinking about round two - can't decide if it should be after Christmas? Probably huh?
I think next time I'd like to do it a little differently - tell me if this is crazy.
Everybody gets 5 partners - you make 5 signatures, send them out to five different people. You get five signatures in return, you bind them into a book yourself. Shipping wouldn't be too bad as you're only sending a few sheets of paper, nothing heavy... size would have to be standard across the board.
Though, this is really premature for me as I haven't even started into Wulf's journal yet. I've got three more pages in my old journal before I told myself I can start my new one. Smiley

If I owe you feedback and you're waiting do send me a reminder.

As a lurker here who is trying to learn how to do altered books and journals but never has, I LOVE the above idea and I would be SO in.

Oh don't worry, I'll be watching for it!!  This gallery has inspired me to do an altered journal for a swap I just joined, so I'm gonna be studyin' up!
