I love the bird and the trees both!

Okay, here is my little penguin.  I hand stitched around the beak, heart, and belly.  I think the heart needs to be further down on the belly.  I am also going to make a gray one with a snowflake on his belly.

There are too many ornaments that I am interested in!!!

Mine will look like my monster avatar....
Perhaps if I get a little more ambitious they may end up with scarves...

I love ornaments and can't wait.
My family, when we travel we pick up ornaments, or something that we can make into ornaments...that way when we unpack our ornaments for the tree we get to remember where we were....
It is awesome. Smiley

I like those mittens!

I sent in my survey and decided I'm going to make 5 woodland felt trees. The pudgy birds are up for grabs if anyone else is looking for an idea of what to make. Smiley

Got started tonight and cut out all my pieces!

Personal swaps... Would love to trade sewn stuff for some cool hand-carved stamps.

I was debating what to make, playing around with a glue gun, felt, pompoms, pipe cleaners. Yeah...not good. I then
decided to go with something tried and true. Also I just love to sew them.

I'll be offering a little rag doll ornament. I haven't had time to make a Christmas one.
Here's one of the little dolls I have hanging up for Halloween. I'll switch to Christmasy colors. This doll is a 12 inches. I'll shrink the pattern to around 8 inches--but it someone wants one that big, that's fine too.

The face is embroidered. The hair is a felt with yarn braids.  I'll have to figure out a more Christmas-themed pet for her. I also might add a skirt or angel wings or something frivolous.

Looking for a vintage magazine (1974 - 1978) that has a fabric nativity set w/ people and animals. An example: http://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=440861&ppuser=143144.

So many cute ornaments! I'm so excited to decorate my tree this year. I know that whichever ornaments I get from this swap, they are going to look fantastic.

gigglygirl, I love the halloween rag doll and I can't wait to see the christmas one!

missmelissa, the mittens are super cute and I think your ceramic one will be amazing. I love your illustrations!

SimplyFabulous, your penguin is adorable! I think a snowflake would be very, very cute.
