The Green Man plate turned out very well! It is made using the double iridized sandwich technique. The back plate is green iridescent glass, and the top plate is clear rainbow iridescent. This was done in two firings: one for the full fuse and one for slump.

Enjoy!

I LOVE this plate. So you torched the face? Then slumped the gree? WOW I am impressed, do you have your own studio? I WISH I had my own studio. If I did I would invite you over to show me a thing or two.

@AngelaAA: This was done using two pieces of iridized glass, etched, then fused face-to-face using the double iridized sandwich technique:  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=359910.0

I enjoyed doing this piece so much that I'm working on a different version using my new ring saw to cut out the face. I do have my own little studio in my laundry room. You're welcome to come visit any time you're in Maryland!
