So, my friends had a party for a birthday and I wanted to cook something, even if that meant buying cookies that are ready-made that you just have to throw in the oven. I knew he liked portal, and my boyfriend was going to make a companion cube cake (which, sadly, never made it to the party, but in the trash because he didn't like the way it was turning out and he's a cooking snob and didn't want anyone to see it..lol) so I figured what would go better than Portal Cookies! They're not meant to be perfect, and they were a blast to put on the icing, but I'm told they were like crack from the deliciousness. Store-bought dough FTW!

I ended up cutting off the edges to make them oval shaped, and in hindsight I should have just shaped them before putting them in the oven...oopsies! I ended up having to make 6 different colors of icing for them, and that was the funnest part because rather than mixing it in a bowl, I squished it around in a plastic baggie (icing and food coloring, that is) and then just cut off a tiny corner, and voila! Cheapest piping tool ever!

Fabulous. My ex used to like that game too. I could never get into it though, it was too weird for me.

But why is the rum gone?

Grin My friend loves Portal! That's a cute and delish idea!  Cheesy I really like the icing colors, super pretty and matches the game colors exactly!
