What's a mug rug? It's a glorified coaster for your mug. I'm involved in a swap http://www.flickr.com/groups/1533394@N22/ and this is what I made for my partner.





Owl Bug



I'm not happy with how uneven the edges of the centre ended up. I notched out the seam allowance and each notch created these annoying points all around the edge. I'm probably going to redo it. Otherwise I love this thing! I'm having a hard time parting with it.
