Here's Lennon with his toy!

Pattern:

Chain 3, join in first ch to create loop.
Row 1: Ch 1, 5 sc in loop, join to first ch.
Row 2: Ch 1, 5 sc in each sc, join to first ch.
Row 3: Ch 3, 5 dc in each sc, join to third starting ch.
Row 4: Ch 4, 3 dc in each dc, join to third starting ch. Finish off.

EASY, right?

Very cute (your dog too)! I am going to try this ASAP. Approximately how big is it?

Thanks! It's a little larger than a baseball using worsted weight yarn.

Aww!! Your dog is super cute and he seems smitten with his new toy. If I get time I should make one for my cats and spray it with catnip oil. Thank for posting the pattern!

Thank you both! I love the catnip idea. Sometimes I hide little treats in the folds like a little "food puzzle." (He bats it around and the treat falls out.)

That's a good idea with the treats! I might have to borrow your idea and do that with Temptation cat treats.

Could you please tell me how many stitches are in each row? Are there 15 sc in the 1st row?
