So I've been rather un-crafty lately, and I haven't posted any completed projects for quite awhile. But since I had a quiet day, I finally finished my little Jenny Hart skull embroidery!! I was so pleased to finally get something done!!
I don't know what I'll do with it; maybe make it a pouch, or into a patch.

satin stitch really does add something extra, I think.  I am doing the skeletons, and I think I'm going to fill them in w/satin stitch.

By the way, who else misspells "stitch" as "stich" every single time they type it??? Wink

That looks really wonderful.  I have that pattern pressed on to a onesie and waiting to stitch it up.  I really like your style.   Wink

if emulation is the highest form of compliment, then consider yourself copied!  I just got my SS kit about a week ago, and I used several ideas here for my second project - a black do rag "babushka" that is the opposite of your take on this pattern (white thread on black material) - I LOVE IT.  I would post a picture but I haven't figured that out yet - I will once I read a little more.  I love this forum.

So obviously I loved your work.  And I wish mine looked as good as yours, but I'm just starting & satin stitch is not very consistent yet.  Thanks for the inspiration.
