Hi guys!  I know this board is a pretty quiet one but I'm hoping that maybe someone here will be able to answer my question...

I'm planning on doing the embroidery hoop/sheer curtain/modpodge silk screen technique and I have a very very simple question....
After you have used your silk screen transfer on to your shirt can you take it off the hoop to reuse the hoop and then later on put it back on?  I'm assuming, why not! Go for it!  But I'm just kind of curious.  I'd love to make my kids a few different silk screens but if they ask me later on for a remake when they grow out of their hopefully favorite shirt that I can whip it out and put it on a hoop again - or will I have to remake the entire thing again?

I made some using a similar technique using the drawing fluid and blocking fluid produced by Speedball.  I can't see why not, except that you run the risk of cracking/flaking of the mod podge, and when you reapply, make sure that it is pulled taut again

Good point - I didn't think about the cracking part.  Good thing we have thrift stores around... I should be able to get a good variety of things around... I might also make my own frames with something just for easier storage...

Yes, at least with flat frames you should be able to store more easily than the ones I made with embroidary hoops.
