Also also, I don't have enough room in my Oct flickr account to include the backside of szuzu1969's or audio-astrophysics' houses that I sent them.  Maybe you two could post pics of the back?

I use the craftster uploading service on here - then i don't have to worry about flickr space - it's really easy too.

I started using it when I kept coming across multiple post where people have remove their pictures from their off site picture host I hate opening a post and seeing no pictures- I figure if I upload my pictures to craftster then my post will always be able to be seen and I won't accidentally remove them to make room in my off site picture host

Hooray! I am glad that the houses are all arriving safely! (And note to Smmarrt -- I had no idea you loved spiders! But let me just say this: I knew that I was making all different houses, but from the get go, I knew that one was going to you. I have no idea why, but I'm so glad I decided that! )

I also want to apologize for not posting more in this gallery -- I have definitely been poking in to drool over the work you have all been doing, but have just not had a chance to comment on things.  There are some incredible houses in here!

And while I'm on the topic of incredible houses, let me finally get around to posting the houses that I've received!

Happy the houses have all been received. And happy that they are so well received.
The texture is simply crumpled tissue paper that was ModPodged on, trimmed and painted. I think I stole that from an earlier gallery and Craftster person....

I'm right there with you SonjaBoo.  I've been able to peak at the gallery in between work and school but can't always find the time to post comments on all the houses I've seen.  This had been my favorite round yet!

Ah!  Those ghosties on that house you sent, Sonjaboo, are soooo cute!  Where have I seen those before?

I use the craftster picture hosting for everything that I receive from partners.  I'm using my flickr account for the swap stuff I send, since I only participate in Halloween swaps now.  But I agree with what you are saying, posts that have the photo removed are annoying.  There should be something that crawls through old posts and deletes those image tags for the ones that aren't there anymore.

Gah!  I'm hating these rollover ads everywhere!


Here are the houses I have received altogether.


From audio-astrophysics...front--each one of us got a numbered house corresponding to the four people in the swap.

back--the "Haunted House" stamp is very cute


From szuzu1969... front--the letters are beads (I think?) and they stick out.

back-- I like the stamp, was it handcrafted?


From aisy... front--the candy corn sticker is dimensional, kindof like a puffy sticker.

Here's the card and envelope it came inside.  Not pictured is the front of the black envelope with the return and address written in white ink.  I think I finally found the correct pen to do that.  I bought a Uni-Ball one because my Gel pen basically stopped working and Galaxy pen wasn't fine enough.


From sajona... front-- it's a little hard to see, but there's a bat peeking out of the chimney!

back-- the beaded string was stuck to the modpodge a little from transit, but I fixed it and now it makes noise when shaken.

It's fun to get Royal Mail.  I like the giant stamp with the Queen on it (not pictured).

Well EEK!  I received my last (sad face *sigh*) fabulous chunky house for this round...from Knickertwist!  And it's definitely chunky!  I love the bit and bobs you used for embellishing the house...thank you Knickertwist!!
