I am very new to sewing, so I thought I would experiment on some thrifted t-shirts. I took two adult tees and turned them into two size 2T dresses (a sundress & a jumper). The jumper has faux buttons, I was too scared to attempt making a button hole!

I would say that I would sell my firstborn for a tutorial but then I wouldn't have the need for such awesomely cute dresses. I especially like the "Je t'aime" one. Cute, cute, cute! Tute, tute, tute!

These are too cute.  I would love to know how you made them.

The pink tee was originally a woman's size XL and the Mickey Mouse was a Woman's size Medium (it was a fitted style tee).

Thank you for nice comments! I made both of these by taking a dress that already fit my daughter well and using it as a template to determine length, etc. After that, it was really a lot of trial and error. The pink dress was 2pcs that I sewed up the sides (a tube & a skirt section). I made a straight stitch across the top of the skirt (without back stitching) and then pulled the top thread to create the gathered skirt then just sewed it onto the tube section and added 2 fabric strips for the ties. The Mickey dress was 1 long tube that I sewed up the edge and then cut off the very bottom section (so I could still  use the original hem). I gathered the bottom section just like I did in dress #1, but attached it making an exposed edges. I sewed two long tubes and ironed them flat and attached them for straps. The tee was very stretchy, so I added faux buttons, but the dress easily slips over my toddler's head without the need for real buttons (thank goodness!). That's probably super confusing, but hopefully it might help those who asked Smiley
