I'm almost finishing my first small item.

One question, though: Do we post photographs before or after our partner has received the parcel?

In the criminal justice system, the people are represented by two separate yet equally important groups. The police who investigate crime and the district attorneys who prosecute the offenders. These are their stories.

Your partner should post photos after they receive your package (in turn you would post photos of what you receive)  It is always good to take pictures before you send in case your package goes astray in the mail (don't worry, it doesn't happen often) or in the event that your partner can't post pictures.

Craftster pm is the best, because hopefully they are regularly on the site, are keeping up with the swap thread and will answer you promptly Smiley

what?!?!

I have decided this newbie swap may actually be harder than a regular swap - a regular swap has some form of theme, so you can think about what you may make before you sign up - but with the newbie swap it is a bit more random. My brain hurts already. Good thing my partner seems super lovely and I am sure she will like anything I make - tee hee!

I feel stupid asking this, but my partner doesn't seem to exist.  I'm still so new that I was trying to find out how to PM her.  I did a "member search", with user name, real name and email addy.  She didn't show up in any of these separate searches.

What am I doing wrong?   Embarrassed

You might be putting a space in her name, this will take you to her profile page and you can click on the "send this member a private message"  button (or something to that effect at the top) LadyUranus.  I send messages all the time to non existant people when I don't watch the spaces Grin
