Awesome gallery so far- i can't wait to see more!

And me too Racky- although my reckoning is that if you go ahead use the good stuff, you get to buy more good stuff to replace it! teehee!

I used to have a real problem with hanging on to the "good stuff" until I realized that it wasn't doing anyone any good sitting in a drawer or bin. I've gotten better about just jumping in and using it.

I haven't managed to conquer that feeling yet. I'm hoping to, though!

Last night I received a bright, cheerfully pink envelope from Sheriffkarli:

Lots of wonderful woodland animals and flowers to use in my sketchbook.
Thank you much, Sheriffkarli!
Everything is great - keep looking at it all spread out on my table and trying to chose a favorite.  I'm currently stalled on my sketchbook, but I know I will integrate some things already.

Great stuff everyone!  This gallery is so much fun to look through!

I received a colossal envelope from Smmarrt filled to the brim with papery goodness.  My only opportunity to take photos was tonight and unfortunately it is dark, but hopefully you are able to get a feel for everything!

First up, the big papers -- background papers, music sheets, marbled papers, you name it:

Next up are some really, really fun pages of images that I can't wait to start working with:

Then we have more fun papers -- a Japanese cooking magazine, Bingo cards, business envelopes, paper people, and more:

And another view of some more of the goodies -- including stamps, Scrabble tiles, polymer clay faces, etc.

And finally stamps!

Thank you so, so much Smmarrt!  This was a wonderful swap and I feel creatively rejuvenated.  Grin  I hope that you enjoy your package as much as I have enjoyed this one!

You're welcome Erika. I was worried that it was more a "destash" envelope than a fit-your-theme type of envelope. I hope you can use some or all of it in future projects and in your sketchbook.

I received from Tara/fabricfriend today. Four pics - and I still didn't capture it all. But I have class tomorrow night so this will have to do until I post more in the Craftalong thread...

First tie-dyed paper, coasters, library cards, brochures, a cookie package and magazine bits.

Next up:

More magazine pages, maps (I love maps!), and pages from an encyclopedia (?).

Third:

Vintage postcards, stickers, tags, milk lids and some other bits (haven't opened the envelope yet).

And finally:

Old stamps, milk grading stickers, vellum pieces, skeletonized leaves, more postcards/brochures/things, so much - a puzzle piece. I'm sure there's more - will try to be more descriptive and coherent on Friday. Thanks so much - I HOPE that some of these bits spur me on and I can finish some more pages this weekend. Whew! Fun.....

Was it store bought shrinky paper or the plastic... left over food stuff. Or some other way that I have yet to learn about?
