Tiny Haunted House Swap (SIGN UPS CLOSED Send by 10/15/10)

I've been wanting to do another swap for a while now and I can't resist something tiny! And the timing seems like it's going to work out well, so, I'm onboard. Quick question for anyone who can answer it, is the max size 4x4" just for the base, or is it 4x4x4" with the height included?

A bit of a  for those of you signed up or about to do so - would there be any objections to the sign ups finishing a little later (the 22nd to be precise)? It would allow someone who is interested but won't have been a member for a month to sign up, but obviously it will reduce the crafting time.

Thoughts? Objections? Rotten tomatoes? Feel free to PM if you'd rather

I definitely wouldn't want to leave off anyone who wants to join. But I do like to know my partner before I start crafting, so it would mean less time. I also understand that the send by date is probably designed to make sure houses are received before Halloween, so it would be difficult to push the send by date back. Honestly, I'm torn, and will happily go with flow on that one.

it's 4x4X4  no bigger than 4" high 4"wide 4" in length 
    I think we should extend the time to include anyone who wants to join will be able to do so

I agree with missing willow I think we shoud be able to start crafting  before being assigned partners at least get the basic house started sans embellishments

I'm fine with pushing the sign-up deadline back.  I'll just have to work harder/faster this time around!   

A little word of caution about starting ahead of time, without knowing your partners wants/likes.... Say you get started on a cardstock house, but your partner wants a fabric house?      Just something to think about.

I also agree with the waiting for partners tbh - even though the chances of being able to get something started that would fit anyone, I'd rather make sure it was exactly right as it's just the one thing

fabric house? if that's the case then someone might miss out on something pretty special if they get me for a partner

Whee! I'm in!  I am not concerned about the media from which my house is built, more so that it be scary, gross and disturbing.    

I mentioned in my application that I have very limited space to display things in my house, but for the first Tiny House Swap I dedicated a shadow box shelf to tiny houses... but it's spots are smaller than 4" in all measurements.  My best case-swapnario is a house that will fit there, which my partner wouldn't know if she/he started early.  Of course, if a smaller one can't be built, then it just can't be done and 4x4x4 will be well-received.

I want to thank everyone for agreeing to extend the sign-up deadline to allow me to apply. I am very excited that this is my first swap....I love houses and Halloween is my favorite holiday.
