Here are some pictures of fun potholders I've been making from the felt from recycled sweaters.  Tell me what you think and let me know if you have any good ideas for other appliques i could do! <3

I love the bacon and eggs! What a great upcycle project. I'm in need of potholders (I've about burned through the ones I have!) and this would be a great way to use up wool scraps from suits I've made. How tedious is your felting process? Do you use specific temps and times, or just wash-n-go and see what happens?

i pretty much wash-and-go!  i like the variety i end up with, some very tightly felted and others not wuite so tightly, but i am careful with using the not so tightly felted ones on potholders!
