You got me brainstorming! It brings back a memory of decorating mix tapes with collages and colored pencils.

I think it would make a great electronic cozy or cover for an external drive. I think I would cover my ugly modem or router. It wouldn't even need to cover the entire unit - just enough to hide in plain site. You could also put it on a wooden box - something around the size of a cassette organizer. Like the crate style box or a wooden cigarbox - the kind with a slide top. My ex gets them from a cigar store for a few bucks.

I came across this post looking for ideas for my iPod speaker dock. The speakers are good but my ipod is crackling and I am pretty sure what ever I replace it with won't fit in the space. A crafted or maybe even a decorated real cassettes would be awesome. Thanks for the the post!

i love it. i usually turn things like this into patches... that way you can have it on a tote bag and show it off everywhere you go!
