I have to say that the before and after pictures of you in this dress are crazy hilarious. Your face in the before looks like you're saying, "Am I frumpy enough? I hate this thing..." and then you're outside playing with your puppy in your nice black heels looking all sexy and fun. It's awesome to me how little you did to completely transform this dress. Awesome job!

I can NOT believe that that's the same dress -- you took a muumuu and turned it into Austen-chic. You did an AWSOME job, truly Jane-worthy!  Cheesy

So, I'm off to pillage your blog now... And I'm luvin' the dawgie!

Went to the blog and saw the rest of the dress make-over. For those of you who haven't yet, GO NOW!!! There's MUCH more to this dress and you'll be too impressed with all that took place on the cutting room floor.  Also a GREAT write-up on shirring w/ elastic thread in general, which I plan to put to use on this HUGE green t-shirt that I love but it wears like a flour sack at the moment and I had no idea what to do with it but I do now! Gonna lettuce the neckline and sleeve hems and it'll be wearable once more.

ROCKIN' this now!
