Hi everyone!
First of all sorry for my english!

I'm a newbie in both forum and handmade sense.. I really enjoy creating with all kind of materials but polymer and mais-clay is one of my favourites.. the last one is the one I choose more often because it's not toxic and I don't need an external oven for it...

So.. I'd like to show the japanese inspired frames I did a while ago. The theme should be Koi fishes swimming underneath a Sakura (cherry) tree..
The frames were unfortunately of plastic, so first I had to rub them of with metallic paper so to glue the item better on the frame.
I first began to create the fishes, trying to give them to most natural look possibile. Then the single sakura flowers had to be made... It all looked like this:

Next, fishies had to be coloured... Come here fishies!

Finally, I made the waves and coloured them with metallic blue (the flash of the camera doesn't show what a fantastic colour it is) and created the tree itself. Here's the finished frame:

It was for a friend, but my mother liked it so much, I had to do another one for her:

Hope you like those frames, too! ^__^

How beautiful are these!!!  The whole frames look very Serene and peaceful.  It would be a shame to put anything in the frame, the fishies would detract people from it and get all the attention for themselves Smiley Smiley

Great job, your mum and friend are very lucky.

The next frames I wanted to take those metallic or wood ones, think is more elegant than plain plastic ^^;
