this was my first attempt at a hair slide.
im really pleased with the flowers though the covered slide wasnt as even as i wanted  Undecided
(i have now discovered that its far easy (and neater) to measure the width of the slide and cut the clay to fit rather than covering the slide and trying to trim of the excess )





this was one of my experimental designs for the flowers on the clip, i liked the colour contrast between the stripped orange cane and the charcoal greys of the flower though the flowers extravagant centre made it too delicate and impractical for what i wanted, so for the final piece i decided to remove the centres altogether leaving the focus on the geometric design instead.
