Costume - Ezio Auditore Cosplay

This is the completed costume for my Ezio Auditore cosplay porject I've been working on for the last few months. The character is from the video game Assassin's Creed 2 (copyright Ubisoft).  

Instead of the normal white version you see everywhere, I did Ezio's fully upgraded outfit, which is black, and included the Armor of Altair.



This is me with my Leonardo da Vinci cosplayer. (sorry it's a little windy outside in the picture).  Both of these costumes were completely handmade, except for the very bottom of the boots, and the pants that you can't see anyway.

Hood down, with no wind:

The hood got very very hot when it's 90 degrees and humid. Thank you Baltimore at the end of July. -_-

I did do all the patterns myself, over the course of a few months. Working out the hood took the longest, by far, to get it to fall properly. I need to take better pictures of it

ha, DH is sitting next to me playing this game at this very moment.  We've mentioned several times what a cool costume this game would make and I've wondered if I could even pull it off.  You did though, 100%  kudos!!!!  DH was also quite impressed.

Thanks, murbeck. It was a lot of fun to make and wear, but very very hot ^_^  I don't know how Ezio did it in Italy

Oh my gosh. I love this!! And my boyfriend would have an awesome spaz-attack if he saw this. (Mega Assassin's Creed fan -- also, I love watching him play; the graphics are amazing :])

The amount of detail is just amazing! I love it!

I agree, the final upgraded outfit is SO MUCH cooler than the first one.



Also, lol at Baltimore. I grew up around there and did a few outfits at Otakon and struggled as a native. Now I live in SC and last night, in the cool just-beginning-September nighttime air, she asks: "This is what I imagine it to be like all summer long up north. Is it?" I just laughed.

Thank you!   I made the gauntlets out of craft foam, plastic sheeting, and suede. It took quite a bit of work to get it looking like that. ^_^

I'm sorry, but I won't be posting any patterns or tutorials online. My pattern changed too much while I was making it, and I don't have a definite pattern any longer.

I love Leonardo!  When I was playing the game the first time around, I was eating a sandwich and missed his hug

Your costume is epic!
I'm not brave enough to make the costume so I'm going to make a zip-up hoodie with the assassin's hood and maybe put the logo on the back.

It was a lot of fun to make and wear, but very very hot ^_^  I don't know how Ezio did it in Italy

That's why his initial costume is white.
Also, the long sleeves and dark colors make you sweat and sweating cools your body down.
