This bag is awesome, I've been looking for a hand bag to carry and I think I might have found it. Thanks so much for the links and inspiration! Now that I'm pregnant and done with my semester in school, I'm trying to be more productive while relaxing a bit before the wee one gets here.

I am having such a hard time figuring this pattern out. I'm not sure if I'm over thinking it or what but it's kicking my butt! I've redone the first two rows 3 times now! I'm going to sit down with it again in a minute and see if I can work it out, so sad. Sad

After the the first row, the dc row, when you ch 1, you'll sc in the first dc and then sc and ch 1 between each dc across.
then when you do the 3rd row you'll sc in each ch space.
i hope that makes sense

Is this what yours looked like? This is just after the 5th row. It almost looks like I didn't chain enough but it comes out right. I have 56 stitches for the chain row, and 112 now at the 5th row, I'm so confused.  Sad

The numbers of the stitches should stay the same as the first row.

If you chained 56, then you should have 56 st every row.

According to the chart, you chain 61.
1st row: ch 3, sk 1st ch, *( 2DC next ch, sk next ch, DC next ch) repeat this pattern to the last st, 1 DC in last st.
2nd Row: Ch 1, sc next DC, *(SC next DC, ch1, sk next DC) repeat * to the end, SC on the top of Ch 3.
3rd and 4th Row: Repeat 2nd Row.

Does it make sense to you?

Does anyone have the English version of this pattern?  The site that had it is now closed down.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
