***Made him a little pilot cap thursday! I like how his ears stays hidden with this, regular hats tend to pop out..

From a previously worn sweater from my mom, once again, I made a totally different thing. Something for Merrick this time.

I made it too thigh on the body, it's pretty slim fit!
The super light fabric and the huge hoodie makes it perfect to wear him in my sling for September outdoor walks. + I love the hood pointing out of the sling.

That's pretty adorable.  You could probably open up the sides and add in coordinated panels to make it a little larger, since it looks like he's about to get too long/chubby for it.

Thanks everyone!

This is a prototype, I wanted to see how it looked before cutting on the good stuff, which will be organic cotton (still waiting on it to arrive.... Oh, how I wish we could have a decent fabric shop around here!)
This one has no snaps at the bottom, but on the others I'll make they're gonna have some.

That is really cute. Where do you get your organic cotton. And I see under your avatar that our babies were born on the same day!

On a side note, what kind of sling do you use and how do you do it? I haven't figured it out yet!

The hood was made from one sleeve, and the 2 sleeves using the finished border of the other sleeve.
I still have some fabric left, and I'v made a hat Smiley
