I am planning on becoming a vendor at a few craft shows this fall/winter. What do I need to do as far as a business license? I live in Ohio. I would appreciate any advice!

Hi!  If you haven't done so by now, you'll want to contact your state's department of revenue and ask them about charging sales tax to your customers, and filing and paying sales taxes, and any other applicable taxes.  You'll also want to ask them about whether or not you'll need any specific types of licenses.  I know in my state it just takes a couple of phone calls and a few days of waiting, and you're all ready to go.  Then you file and pay your sales tax once a month. Pretty simple! Hope it's the same for you!

You might want to contact your municipality and get an occupational license.... as far as sales tax goes you usually apply for that online.
