First post!  I found this barely-started project in my closet while cleaning it out a few weeks ago, just a t-shirt cut up and half-attached to a metal desktop organizer (from Target, I'm pretty sure).  It was kind of super pathetic-looking :3  BUT this month's challenge gave me a bajillion new ideas for how to finish it and thanks to a hot glue gun, here's how it turned out!  It's not perfect (I still have to go glue-string picking >.<) but I like it.  I'm going to give it to a friend of mine who is particularly fond of buttons, bright colors, and all things Crayola Smiley

And finally, the front!

The #2 pencils are on the front at the bottom of this pic.  Almost forgot them!!! >.<
PS - The t-shirt said "Peace Love Unity" and "The Electric Company" and I'm sorry to say, I only picked it up because of the colors and the peace-love-unity part...I have no clue who the Electric Company is (boyfriend tells me it's a band?) >.<  Whoops!

**EDIT** Thanks to AngelKrafter I've been enlightened - it's a TV show!  Time to go find some clips on YouTube Smiley

That's awesome!  Also I wish i had that shirt!  My daughter and I love The Electric Company!  (it was a 70's show from the makers of Sesame Street and it was all about reading...and it had Bill Cosby and Morgan Freeman, among others!)

Here is a video from you tube. It was a show that kids watched after Sesame Street. It was on PBS. We didn't have tons of kids shows to watch. On the weekend mornings were cartoons. Back then only 3 major networks and a PBS station.

How bright and fun! Take a hair dryer to it to get rid of those glue-strings.
