My sister's wedding was on Saturday, so I spent the entire day/night Friday drafting the pattern for this, cutting, and sewing it all. WHEW!! This was my first time doing godets. Definitely a challenge, especially hemming and well, just getting the points to look pointy! I did two in the front and two in back. I didn't want any on the sides. You can't see it in the pic, but I used burgundy thread for the top stiching on the seams and then added a line of X stitching down the center to make it pop more. The hat is the same style I made for the upcycled man's shirt dress.

This is my new favorite outfit!! (I say that pretty much after each new thing.  Cheesy )

I added two rows of elastic to the inside of the back waistband to give the dress a more fitted look.

This little outfit is just adorable.  I particularly liked the hat, so I had a look at your other stuff and it is all absolutely gorgeous, almost makes me wish I knew a little girl to craft things for Smiley

Did you make all the hat patterns yourself?  I'd love and adult version.

Incredible!  What an adorable little model and a lucky litty girl to have a mom who can make her such cute outfits!  I agree I want an adult version for me! Smiley
