Is there a sewing/pattern book just for boys clothes/stuff?

I found one that is a book for boys to learn to sew, but havent seen any that have patterns/tutorials and things for just boys items.

Does anyone know of one?

I've never seen one, which is a shame.  I have a few special editions of sewing/craft magazines that focus on sewing for boys.  There doesn't seem to be a lot of variety out there.

Hmmmmmm.....

I was thinking of writing one. 

I make all my own patterns, and do mostly boys stuff, so I'd want to do a book for all boys.  I havent seen one either, but I asked to see if anyone else knew of one!   Sense there isnt one, would there be a good market for it?

I think there is a real need for stylish, innovative, well designed boys' patterns.  I've seen requests online - I keep an eye on several sewing/pattern blogs, and this theme just keeps popping up.

Sadly, there is next to nothing for boy's patterns out there. If you want anything more creative than a plain button up shirt and elastic pants, I HIGHLY recommend looking for vintage patterns. Back 50-60 years ago, people made their kids clothing out of necessity rather than just for fun, so you can find all kinds of stuff. I have found patterns for overalls, robes, swim trunks, cowboy shirts, jumpers, coats, vests, hats, blazers, slacks, shorts, etc. They are usually pretty simple and can be made to look modern with your fabric selection. Also, there are a lot of great blogs out there that have boys patterns, and you can check out the latest round of "Celebrate the boy" in Feb:

I have a son, and I hate how little there is out there to make for boys. I have just taken simple patterns and embellished them, or made my own, adding zippers, snaps, pockets, cuffs, buttons, and little details. I also buy plain shirts and embroider or applique on them. A lot of people do freezer paper stencils.

Just start googling and looking at images, and try to replicate things you like.
