So I've been lurking for a good while and it's been a couple months since I actually tried to make a little Amigurumi (Shame on me!) so after seeing the little cockateil, I just had to get back into the swing of things. So I made "Cheepy"

"Cheepy" is made from the Cockatiel pattern here.. http://www.okamensclub.com/handicraft.html
That pattern is in Japanese, and there is a translated version here.. http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=356959.msg4196898#msg4196898

One substitute though, Cheepy's eyes are a magic ring with 4 stitches and Cheepy's feet are my own little pattern instead of felt.

To make Cheepy's feet I did 6 stitches in a magic ring then 3 bobble stitches in a row, slip stitched the next 2 stitches then another bobble stitch.

And then... there was Luma.. I used WolfDreamer's Luma Pattern here.. http://wolfdreamer-oth.blogspot.com/2009/08/luma-plushie.html It was so easy!

I also crochet'd the eyes instead of using felt. As you can tell I'm addicted to putting little rhinestones as the "highlights" in the eyes.. I think it's a little cooler since it will actually catch light instead of just being white..

Thanks for checking out my new plushies!

Nice job on both of them, but I really love the little birdy feet!

Thanks everyone!

I'm glad Cheepy is such a hit. I'm working on a little pal for him/her, but its of the feline persuasion so there might be some tension between 'em.

I love how you crochet the feet. The Luma is so cute. I really like the rhinestones, how did you attach them?
