Thanks so very much to everyone for the awesome feedback! <3 to the awesome Craftster community.  If I get a chance to do a tighter "trapped pearl" weave (as BeaG said) I'll post an update.  : )

I really love the way this looks! I'm not necessarily a choker person, but I think I would wear this!
I love the juxtaposition of the hard edge of the zipper with the ladylike pearls. I think it's both punk rock and classic at the same time!

This is awesome - I have a lot of fake pearls from necklaces I've bought only for the pendant. Now I know what to do with them. Smiley

That is really awesome! The contrasts between the pearls and zipper - the colors and textures and classic vs. found object/edgy/industrial/whatever - work really well together.
