finally got round to doing one...Galaxy (in pink)
polymer clay over a scrap clay armature.
backfilled, sanded and buffed.

i made a larger armature for this bangle but i think the 'Galaxy' design works far better on a slimmer more delicate bangle.

more constellation brooches

(from top) Aquila (the Eagle), Corvus (the Raven), (remake) Lepus (the Hare)
i tweeked the blend using 'glitter white' (fimo) instead of white. the resulting blend is much closer to what i wanted : )

Corvus. detail

and a penguin in a wizards hat Grin
im not sure if i should leave him as he is or make a base to go with him Undecided....and maybe a staff or a wand Undecided

comments and advice more than welcome Smiley

He's so cute! But he needs a staff for sure.

thank you.
much of my jewellery seems to based around simple bold colours and flowing, sculptural shapes (patience and whole lot of sanding).
modelling such as the penguin is relatively new to me. its soo fiddly! (i have renewed respect for anyone who makes miniature foods! ) it took me ages to get his eyes even Roll Eyes
