I was recently in a Harry Potter swap (round 8, in fact) and I made an amigurumi of my partner's favorite character: Dumbledore!



It was my first time making up my own pattern, and my first non-animal amigurumi!  I'm trying to write a real pattern for it, and it's being tested now.  I will update this thread when the pattern is done, thank you for your patience (and many thanks to my lovely pattern testers!)

I used Caron Simply Soft and unraveled each strand after they were attached.  It sounds like a lot of work, but that yarn separates easily, so I just inserted a blunt-tip needle into the top of the yarn and pulled.
