I was given some of my grandmother's crochet hooks and in the lot were size 12 and 13 crochet hooks. The hook end on these things are tiny.  Anyone have any idea what these would be used for?
The thread I use for doilies is too thick for these.  My mom thinks my grandmother used them for tatting, but I haven't looked into that yet to know if that is what they would be for. Anyone have any ideas?

You can get thread in various thicknesses, including the very, very fine.  It's possible those hooks are for that. Smiley
