My brother-in-law is getting married the end of September and I wanted to get him and his fiance a unique gift. Both are U.S. History teachers and both happen to like Abraham Lincoln the best out of all the historical figures. Thus the Abraham Lincoln Poppet was born.

He is and shall remain shoeless. Mostly because I hated every set I made.

He turned out great!  Love that you caught the pattern of his hair too.  Top hat looks great, and who needs shoes anyway.

Maybe he's reliving his youth and going shoeless!

He's amazing!

He looks awesome...great work!!! I leave my poppets barefoot all the time, because I love their little feet too much to cover them up!!!

He is wonderful!  My little boy's name is Lincoln and he loves anything that has to do with Abe.  He would love to have one of these!

Totally awesome job!! Everything is spot-on!! What pattern did you use for his clothes? They are really great. Would make good clothes for a bride groom poppet too! I have a hard time drafting patterns. I can change the size if I have one, just trial and error with the scanner. None of my poppets are the same size I like to use suede types and also jersey knit. Jersey makes sculpting the face and turning the fingers soooooo easy
