OH and I found some super cute patterns I forgot I had, for infant sizes in a few different styles.  So I can do little ones now too not just toddler size!  So I can be partnered with anyone now!   Plus I found a stack of blanks in a bunch of sizes, so I wont have to buy anything for this swap other than postage, which is always a good thing.   Grin

For those of you that sew things, what patterns do you use? And for what ages of babies...or I guess leighi123 what patterns did you just find. I am used to sewing adult things and all the baby stuff I have sewn was with woven fabric and I am guessing what you guys are talking about is with knit fabric.

I LOVE Ottobre magazine - it's a Dutch magazine, but printed in English.  They come out approx. every other month and each issue has outfits ranging in sizes from newborn to tween (boys and girls).  I highly recommend it.  You can get single issues online or hunt around eBay if you'd like to test them out sometime.

Nice shirts! (especially the green/yellow one; I'd love that for my boy!)

Ottobre is Dutch?...Hm I'm Dutch but I didn't know that  Wink
I never use magazines, because I always know what kind of thing I want to make, so searching online for the specific pattern is quicker and easier. Or I just trace a favorite shirt.

You can also find nice (free) patterns and examples on http://www.burdastyle.com

Scratch that, it's from Finland - it just happens to be printed in Dutch as well.  My bad.  Grin

If anyone has otttobre magazines that they are done with (even used/part used), I'm always up for a swap for those!  I love them!

I make my own patterns mostly, usually by measuring my kid and/or measuring some clothes or cutting up thrift store clothes to make a pattern that works.

Both of those pics I posted are made from cut up t-shirts!

Also, if you have something specific in mind, just google _______ tutorial, and usually SOMEONE has made a tutorial for that style somewhere!  Thats how I learned to sew btw.
