jacobsmomma, I usually just skip the last wash... I prewash everything, and ensure it goes through a good dryer cycle so that if any shrinking is going to happen, it's before I start. I do my thing, then heat set after 3-4 days (or a week +++ as usually happens lol) then that's it. After they have been worn, I usually throw them in the wash on a gentle cycle inside out for the first wash.
I'm weird... I wash all my clothes inside out. Saves the prints/detailing/etc if there's anything on em... Or it could just be that I'm too lazy to turn anything right side out before throwing it in the washer  Roll Eyes

Made a huge amount of progress today!
Package #1 - 3 shirts complete, 1 with minor hand sewing, 1 to be started (still procrastinating on that one - have yet to figure out how to go about it)
Package #2 - all 5 shirts complete!
Those completes are minus heat setting where necessary, as I plan to just do it all at once, instead of dragging the iron out here and there...

When you guys heat set, what do you usually do?
I tend to turn my items inside out with an (clean) old tea towel in the middle, then iron on the fabric setting on the iron that matches the fabric I used (Eg cotton for most tshirts, etc)

You know how you have a nagging feeling like you're forgetting something, but can't figure out what it is?  Well, the latest thread reminded me.... I forgot to heat set one of my shirts.  Hopefully it will arrive to jezebel in a few days and they can be heat set with the rest of hers!  Sorry about that - but I'm glad that I remembered before you washed it.

I've been busy crafting last night and am pretty happy with the result. Now 2 more days until fall break, so I can continue & finish the package. Looking forward to that!

I ruined one shirt last night, and started on another one tonight. I have 2 completely done, and 1 that needs to dry. Then I just have to start on the last 2.
