I've almost got the embroidery done for my second shirt - it's turning out nicely so far

6 more to go, but they are the easiest out of all of them. Well maybe not the easiest but the ones I'm most familiar with. I'm having fun with these!

I am starting on my 3rd shirt tonight. I have a question for you guys. I know I have to wait 72 hours then iron and hand wash my shirts after they are done. My question is do I then machine wash them too? This is my first time stenciling shirts, so I am not sure if I do both.

Wash you shirt in the machine FIRST then you do your thing then you can iron but why are you hand washing again?

Since little man is in for his daily nap/quiet time, and my chores are (mostly) done, I think I will sit and try to get a few more shirts done...Of course, I left the most complicated one til last...hoping I can work that out!

The back of the paint bottle says to prewash, decorate, let sit for 72 hours, then iron and hand wash. I am using the simply screen paint. So I was wondering should I just skip the hand washing then and machine wash them or what? What do you guys do? As you can tell this is my first time stenciling, but I am loving it.
