Simplicity 4070. It sizes up easily (even though it only comes up to a 22) and it is very flattering.

That is cute.  Thanks for responding.

I really like Butterick 4957, my first attempt at a garment and very flattering on!! I have ordered more fabric to make another....

Dress: Butterick 4790 <- haven't been brave enough to make this one myself yet, but I have a pic of my grandmother when she was my age (and size!) in this dress, and she looked so gorgeous!

You must try this one, I've only been sewing a matter of weeks and managed this, it's super, super easy!!

I like the Khaliah Ali patterns too, but I had some issues with the underbust on one of them--it needed serious adjustment. Just so you know!

New Look 6468 - absolute favorite.

Princess seams, great instructions for the top band, super-easy to increase the volume in the bottom of the dress, their pants fit a rounded booty damn well and work well with making into straight/bootcut/wide leg pants. I've made multiple dresses and tops with this pattern. The pants, joined with another pattern, have been made into 4 pairs of trousers.
