Brackish Potato

I used #2 pencils for this project. They serve as a sort of border on the cards.

I made these cards for my daughter's preschool teacher and her aide. I just wanted to thank them in advance for teaching my little girl this school year and show my appreciation.  Teaching is not a job, it's a calling (especially with the pitiful amount they're paid in this town) and I'm so thankful for the wonderful folks who have made this their life's work. I was not able to get pictures of the teachers receiving their cards because the first day of school is so crazy!
Thanks for looking!

As a teacher I have to commend you on such a thoughtful gift.  Teachers don't get enough recognition, and this is so sweet.  I'm sure your daughters teachers will treasure the card---I always save little things like that as a pick-me-up on bad days.  Great job!
