Foxy Felix and Sadie Skunk are usually sweet and adorable siblings...but watch out! The glimmer in their eye tells me they are up to something that isn't good.

I designed Felix and Sadie for a great gal who wanted a "kawaii cute...but creepy" theme.  They are stitched in a split stitch, with Progresso pencil tinting.  Sadie has seed stitching on her fur for texture.  Their eyes are satin stitched with backstitch outlines.

"Foxy" Felix started his life as Bobby Bear, but when I discovered that I did not have the shade of brown I would need, a few quick lines were drawn, and Voila! Foxy was born Tongue  His scene is not quite finished yet - he will be getting a small campfire for his marshmallow roasting, and a toadstool behind him (for balance).

For those interested, I will be posting the patterns for both of these guys on my blog soon (just need to clean up the sketches a bit and scan).

Neat! Sadie Skunk made me laugh since I'm usually called a stinker (in a mischevious way not smelly ha ha) by my family so I love skunk related things =P

You definitely nailed the eyes, very expressive.  So different and great.

These are great designs! You hit the creepy/cute theme on the head. Although I think they are mostly cute Smiley.
