Hey Check this out

no,no,no not the gorgeous houses

the feet!

There seems to be a lot of discussions in this swap as to how to display your chunky house- This idea has been swirling around in my head since the last chunky house swap,I finally broke out the polymer clay and created some chunky house feet and here's how I did it

I used: liquid polymer clay, knife or cutting blade, polymer clay, Cardboard (not shown), 7/8" circle cutter ( any smaller and your house will fall over- I know) and cornstarch to help prevent your clay from sticking to the cutter

Roll out the polymer clay to 1/8" thick -
using the circle cutter dipped in cornstarch,
cut out two circles of polymer clay for each foot-
using the cutting blade cut one of the two circles in half

apply a thin bead of liquid polymer clay to the cut side of one of the half circles and place slightly off center-repeat with the other half circle placing it 1/8' from the first  half circle-  sandwich a small piece of card board between the two half circles to aid in spacing evenly and to keep your half circles from distorting during baking clay

Bake according to manufacturer's directions

it takes two feet for light house for some of the more top heavy houses you may have to use three feet-

That's it! hope you find this useful

Brilliant!  What an awesome idea!  So the little chunky house feet are similar in concept to those plastic pieces that you sometimes find in board games, right?  I love it!! Cheesy
