I can't wait for more houses to come-the little ghosts are just too cute. I'm hoping to send out in Tuesday.

I spent an enjoyable hour last night cutting out the bases and priming. I agree - this is fun.

Received a wonderful house from Teag!  It's great!  I'll take pics soon!

Worked a bit on my houses this morning.  I think I'm 90% done with the pieces.  Now I just need some time to put it all together and add some finishing touches.  FUN!!!

I agree these houses are a lot of fun- and I am so happy you like your new house- I spend a lot of care and time trying to make something special for my swap partners

I'm having trouble with mine.  I have the dimensions cut out, but keeping the design with a house is difficult.  I have a couple good ideas.. but then I'm not sure how to go about it.  I'm going to look around the galleries again Undecided

Update:  I feel better.  However, there is a lot of intimidating talent. Lol!

The trick is to keep the base( you house shape) simple- it's the detailing that makes them special

And I did a sort of bass-ackwards thing this time around - I cut the bases to fit into the envelopes. And I kept the shapes simple and hopefully can go a little wild with the decoration/embellishment.

I got disgusted with my initial try, so did a complete do-over.  The new ones are almost ready to be sent.

Made lots of progress on these.  Hopefully I can add a few finishing touches tonight and have them ready to mail off in the morning!   Grin

I cut out 8 bases during the last chunky house swap so I was all ready to go for this one.  I finally turned a corner on the design today and am really happy with the results.  Hope to send soon!!!!
