I got my last one from Keogan42 today and it is gorgeous! The timing was perfect because I am work-shopping a new play tomorrow and it is the perfect addition to my wardrobe to impress the big bad screenwriter.

Can I just say, I am in love with the window shade model! And that headband looks awesomely well-made!

Also, I think I am officially in love with exclamation points today. I must have sent out twenty emails full of them today.

I received from Keogan42 today! It's so pretty-beaded fabric

Thank you so much!  It's not too over the top, I'm wearing it tomorrow!

I received from PatchworkDragon on Saturday. Sorry for the late pictures, but here they are!

That's RIGHT a caffeine molecule beaded on the headband. I mentioned I liked science and worked in a lab on the questionnaire and she delivered! Grin  And it's covered with a lovely black fabric that's nice to touch.  Cheesy

And a half action shot:

Thanks so much patchworkdragon! I love it! Smiley

It is just too fun getting packages in the mail!  I received from mymymissmai today.

My daughter gasped when she saw it.  I think she'll probably be wearing it tomarrow.

Now I  have a question.

Does anyone have any ideas for some kind of holder for storing the headbands?  I don't have a drawer to throw them in, and I probably wouldn't even if I did. (My husband says that I should get a model head from the movie Alien, but I just don't have the space for it.)

Scholars and artists...differ most importantly in the way their knowledge is come by.  Scholars get theirs with conscientious thoroughness along projected lines of logic; poets...stick to nothing deliberately, but let what will stick to them like burrs where they walk in the fields.

Keogan42, I sure like the headbands you've been making.  Any secrets you're willing to share?  Is the flower on the headband you made for Cheebz made from felt?  It's lovely.  And the one for jinny_heck is equally enviable.  Was it just some fabulous fabric that inspired you?

A mailing tube if you have a lot and an old oatmeal container if the amount is more reasonable.  You can cover it in fun fabric or paint it.  My roommate made one this summer for her ever growing headband collection.
