It was a lot of fun to do! My inspiration was a picture I found (used to be sold on etsy) of an embroidered button. She used a different stitch than I did for the underside of the tentacle. Even though my stitch came out more triangular, I felt it looked a lot more "realistic" (plus, it gives a 3D element). It's called the "raised cup" for anyone interested in it. Smiley (The other stitches were just satin and stem)
