My walls are white (I hate renting). My favorite chair is black, my bed is red cherry. Now the question is should I repaint the dresser? Its black with turquiose drawer fronts.

What color do you like most? And that color would be the best. I just think that the only color that will not suite there is white.

If it's possible paint the dresser where it is turquoise to red or white.  The white walls are okay, and nice to have because it brings out color more, and makes a room seem bigger, but it's the colors that you bring into the room that you have to watch out for.  Your bed and dresser sounds nice, but then accent with more whites, like a white runner on your dresser and add some accents.
